Ahead of this year’s International Chess day, the Chairperson of the Irish Chess Union and head organiser of the ESCC2024 Desmond Beatty talked about the development of Irish chess and next year’s event in Limerick.
The International Chess Day marks the foundation of FIDE! In 2024 Fide is going to celebrate it’s 100th birthday. One more reason to encourage as much kids and adults to play the wonderful game of chess.
